ProperWater started with a simple observation. Across Perth — and across Australia — water filtration had become more about contracts and proprietary lock-in than about doing the job properly. Customers were being signed up to ongoing service plans, committed to proprietary cartridge formats with limited supply options, and charged proprietary supply pricing for what is, fundamentally, a standardised piece of household equipment.
We saw too much bad advice, too many oversold systems, and too many plumbers fitting filtration equipment they didn't understand. There's a better way to do this — and that's what ProperWater exists to offer.

We're a Mount Hawthorn business that ships compatible CHF replacement filters Australia-wide and installs filtration systems across Perth metro. We're not a national franchise, not a subcontractor, not a sales arm of a manufacturer. When you call, you talk to Joe. When we install, Joe does the install. When you need filter changes in three years, Joe is still here to do them.
We don't sell what we wouldn't install in our own homes. We don't recommend systems people don't need. And we don't tie people into contracts that lock them out of the open market.
