Which filter does this refill?
The yellow resin cartridge in the middle of your CHF system. It has a cap that comes off, so you keep the cartridge and replace only the resin inside. See the photo above. One bag fills it to the correct line.
How much resin do I need?
One bag is one complete refill of a CHF 15" resin cartridge, 2.5 L brings the media to the correct fill line. Don't top it up beyond that: the cartridge isn't meant to be filled to the top, because resin needs headspace to move and do its job. The two-bag option is simply this year's refill plus a spare on the shelf for next time.
How do I do the refill?
Empty the spent resin, rinse the cartridge, pour in the new media up to the fill line, not to the top; the headspace is meant to be there, and refit. Step-by-step instructions come with every bag, and the full filter-change guide walks the whole process.
Can I change my resin before my renewal date?
Yes, it's your system. There's no subscription and no renewal window here: if your water is telling you the resin is spent, refill it. Buy when you need it, not when a schedule says so.
