How much resin do I need?

Don't top it up beyond that: the housing isn't meant to be filled to the top, because resin needs headspace to move and do its job. The two-bag option is simply this year's refill plus a spare on the shelf for next time.
How do I do the refill?

Can I change my resin before my renewal date?
Yes — it's your system. There's no subscription and no renewal window here: if your water is telling you the resin is spent, refill it. Buy when you need it, not when a schedule says so.
