The awkward part is that no single filter fixes everything — sediment, chlorine, hardness and dissolved minerals each need a different technology, and some of the most common assumptions are wrong (softening, for instance, doesn't reduce dissolved solids at all).

Whole-home systems (Perth metro). We design and install three-stage systems on your mains — sediment, carbon, and salt-free scale prevention — fitted by licensed plumber partners. That's the setup behind most of the builds this guide will suggest for Perth scheme water.
Replacement filters (Australia-wide). We supply sediment cartridges, carbon blocks and ion-exchange softening resin, as complete sets or loose refills.
