Full changeover of your replacement filter set — sediment, carbon and resin or media stages
Housings opened, cleaned and resealed, and the O-rings checked
System flushed and pressure-checked, and I make sure there are no leaks before I leave

What a year of filtering actually looks like

This is a sediment cartridge after twelve months on Perth scheme water. Everything staining it brown is material the filter caught before it reached a tap, a shower or an appliance — which is exactly its job. It's also why a filter left in too long stops helping: once it's loaded, water finds the path of least resistance around it.

How it works

Add the service alongside your filter set at checkout. One flat $60 — no call-out fee, no hourly rate.

2 · We pick a time

I'll email you once your order is placed and we'll find a time that suits, usually within a week of your filters arriving.

3 · Twenty minutes, done

Most changes take about twenty minutes. You don't need to be home for the whole visit as long as I can reach the unit.

Common questions

Do I need a plumber for this?

No. Changing cartridges in an existing system isn't plumbing work — it's a twist-out, twist-in job, which is why we include instructions free with every order and plenty of customers do it themselves. Work that connects to your mains is different: that's a separate installation service, carried out by our WA-licensed plumber partners.

Which suburbs do you cover?

Perth metropolitan area — roughly Two Rocks down to Mandurah and out to the hills. Boundaries can be a judgement call, so if you're not certain just email me first.

Can I book this without buying filters?

The service is designed to go with a filter order, since I bring your new cartridges with me. If you've already got filters and just want them fitted, email me and we'll sort something out.

What if something's wrong with my system?

I'll tell you what I've found and what it would take to fix — no pressure and no upsell. If it's a quick fix I'll usually just sort it while I'm there.
