Spec your system

The meter and the pipework belong to the owner, so the owner or property manager has to OK the plumbing work before we book it. Worth asking them now. We can send the quote to them as well if that helps.

Most of our systems go in the garden bed near the meter. Where there's no solid wall or fence close by to fix it to, the system stands on its own posts. The posts add $250, which is already in your price.

Colorbond and timber fences usually can't carry the weight once the system is full of water, so those get posts too. If there's a brick or limestone wall right there, pick Outside wall instead.

The system fixes to the house or a solid brick or limestone fence. It doesn't need to be near the meter, just close to where the main pipe feeds into the house.

It needs a clear stretch of wall with room underneath to take the filter bowls off at change time. The cover comes standard, so a sunny wall is fine.

Outside is our preference. Leaks are rare, but the filters sit at full mains pressure and a little water always spills at filter change time. Outside that does no harm. Inside it can mark floors or damage walls and anything stored nearby.

These installs also only work where the mains pipe already runs overhead through the ceiling to that spot. If it doesn't, getting it there can mean a long run of new copper pipe, which adds real cost. We'll check before confirming your price.

Most homes end up with a garden bed install near the meter or a wall install where the main pipe feeds into the house. Add a photo of your meter and the area around it below and we can usually recommend the spot without coming out.
