A 2.5 L bag of resin to refill your yellow cartridge. You keep the cartridge and replace only what's inside. Reduces the calcium and magnesium behind limescale for noticeably softer water on skin, hair and glassware; refilled every 6 to 12 months as the resin is used up.
Sealed cartridge, 5 micron. Reduces chlorine, taste and odour. Made for chlorine-disinfected supplies, which includes all of Perth. Chloramine supplies: see the questions below.
The two sealed cartridges drop straight into your housings, and the resin is a quick refill. Step-by-step instructions come with every set. In the same honest spirit: we only list certifications we can document, the sediment and carbon cartridges are quality-checked but don't carry independent certifications.
What's in the box: the two sealed cartridges, the 2.5 L resin bag, a replacement pad for the resin cartridge, a bag for the old resin, the resin-refill instruction card and a sachet of food-grade silicone grease for the O-rings. Everything the change needs, nothing to go and buy.

Common questions
Is this carbon block right for my water supply?
Made for water supplies disinfected with chlorine, as Perth's and most of WA's are. Supplies disinfected with chloramine (some east-coast utilities) need a different carbon: text us before ordering.
Will using non-genuine filters void my CHF warranty?
No. Under Australian Consumer Law a supplier can't void your warranty simply because you used a compatible third-party consumable, that's a well-established consumer right. Keep your receipts, and if a warranty claim is ever refused on filter brand alone, the ACCC and your state consumer body are the people to talk to.
How long does it take, and do I need a plumber?
About twenty minutes with the housing wrench, and no plumber, the two sealed cartridges drop in and the resin is a pour to the fill line. If you've never done it before, the step-by-step guide walks every step with photos, and if you get stuck you call and get Joe. Rather not? We'll change them for you for $100 anywhere in Perth metro.
Are these as good as genuine CHF filters?
Honest answer: they're not genuine CHF cartridges, and we don't claim to be, they're our own PW Series, independently designed for the same 15" × 4.5" format CHF systems use. What we can stand behind: certified resin media (see above), a physically validated fill volume, and a fit guarantee if anything doesn't fit on arrival. We don't publish performance comparisons we can't document.
Will they fit my CHF system?

How often do I need to change them?

Not sure if resin or NAC suits you?
Resin (this set) softens water by reducing hardness minerals, best if you want that soft-water feel. Refilled every 6 to 12 months. NAC scale prevention conditions water so scale is far less able to form, while keeping minerals in, best for set-and-forget protection.
