Complete Home Filtration installs three 3-stage systems across Australian homes — 15" and two 10" variants. Use our quick checker to identify yours and confirm whether PW Series replacement filters are designed for your housing format — before you order.
Answer one or two quick questions about your CHF cartridges and we'll tell you which PW filters fit.
Open one of your filter housings and look at the cartridge inside, or check the housing length. CHF systems use one of two cartridge sizes. A 15" cartridge is about 38 cm long; a 10" cartridge is about 25 cm. All CHF systems are 3-stage (three housings in a row).
Pull out one of your old cartridges and look at the top end. A flat top sits level across the whole end. A raised spigot has a protruding nipple or collar sticking up in the centre. This tells us which 10" CHF system you have.
The three CHF systems you'll find in Australian homes — all 3-stage. PW Series filters fit the 15" × 4.5" system and the original flat-top 10" system; a filter for the proprietary 10" is on the way.
The most common CHF system. Three 15" × 4.5" housings in series — sediment, resin softening and carbon block. The cartridges have a proprietary sealed/spigot top, and our PW Series 15" filters are made to match it.
The original 10" × 4.5" CHF system, with standard flat-top cartridges in a 3-stage configuration. Because the cartridge top is flat (not proprietary), our 10" filters drop straight in.
The later 10" × 4.5" CHF system, with proprietary raised-spigot cartridges in a 3-stage configuration. A PW Series filter to match this proprietary format is in development — not available just yet.
Most CHF installations have a label or sticker identifying the system model. It's usually in one of three places.
Look at the top cap of one of the housings — there's often a sticker with the CHF logo and model number printed in small text.
The metal or plastic bracket the housings are attached to often has a CHF identification label, especially on installs done after 2020.
Check the original installation invoice or service log book — the model number (CHF-6000, CHF-6200, or similar) is usually listed there. CHF customers also receive annual service reminders by SMS/email showing model details.
Can't find a label? Not sure whether your filters are 15" or 20"? Snap a photo of your housings — including a ruler or familiar object for scale if you can — and we'll identify your system and confirm compatibility within 24 hours.
No commitment. We'll just tell you what you've got and whether PW Series filters fit.
